Hiren spent three years working at the McDonald’s restaurant at 1528 Broadway in Times Square, New York, a location that’s open 24 hours. Working there every day showed him how the menu, deals and ordering really work inside a busy U.S. McDonald’s.
He enjoyed that time, and it gave him the idea to share what he learned with people who want clear answers before they order. That’s how he started blogging, and macmenu.us is his first blog.
Today he runs macmenu.us from Gujarat, India. He researches every item, checks the numbers against McDonald’s official U.S. website and updates the tables when the menu changes.
How We Research Every Page
We start with McDonald’s own published information and only then look at other sources. Each step below happens before a page goes live and again every time we update it.
- Menu items: We list every item shown on McDonald’s official U.S. full menu, category by category.
- Calories and protein: We copy these from McDonald’s official U.S. nutrition data and match every row on our page against it.
- Deal prices: McValue, Meal Deal and Extra Value Meal prices come from McDonald’s official pages and company announcements.
- Regular prices: We compare several U.S. menus and show a typical price, plus a price range for the most-searched items.
- Final check: Before publishing, we re-read every table for missing items, wrong sizes and out-of-date offers.
How We Handle Prices
McDonald’s doesn’t publish prices on its website, because each franchise owner sets the prices at their own restaurant. That’s why we call our numbers typical prices and never present them as official.
The only way to see the exact price at your restaurant is the McDonald’s app, after you pick your store. We say this on every page that lists prices.
How We Keep Pages Up To Date
We check McDonald’s official menu for new, changed and discontinued items regularly, and right away when a new promotion launches. Each page shows the date it was last checked.
When a limited-time item disappears from McDonald’s official menu, we either remove it or move it to a clearly labeled “ended” list, so readers don’t go looking for something that’s gone.
Corrections Policy
If something on this site is wrong, we want to fix it quickly. Send us the item, the page and what you saw through our Contact Us page, and include your city if it’s about a price.
We check every report against McDonald’s official information. When a correction changes a fact on a page, we update the page and its “last checked” date.
